I'm a United Methodist minister, ordained as an Elder in Full Connection, currently serving in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. In addition to being a minister, I'm a blogger, a wannabe writer, an advocate for Appalachian people and culture (even now that I, myself, am in Diaspora), and a Progressive Christian who tries to live faithfully in the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.
