Gooding Pro Rodeo

Don’t forget to renew your seats next Tuesday! 2026 Gooding was a top 40 rodeo in The PRCA Playoff rodeos and in 2027 we are again.

Meet Squash Blossom Steely Dan of Macza Pro Rodeo.💥

Originally a ba****ck horse, Squash Blossom Steely Dan began traveling with Macza Pro Rodeo in 2021 before making the switch to saddle bronc riding, where he quickly made his mark. Since then, he has qualified for the National Finals Rodeo three times and competed at some of rodeo’s biggest events, including the Ponoka Stampede, Pendleton Round-Up and Cheyenne Frontier Days. This December, he’ll return to Las Vegas for his third NFR appearance.

At the 2025 Canadian Finals Rodeo, Steely Dan carried Zeke Thurston to a 91.5-point ride, helping him clinch the Canadian title. In 2026, he delivered another standout performance, carrying Ben Andersen to 88.75 points as Andersen maintained his aggregate lead and secured his first Canadian championship.

I’m honored and blessed to be nominated again for PRCA Music Director of the Year!!

To be selected by your peers when there’s a lot of talent to choose from is so humbling!

My family and I know the sacrifices I make to be out on the road, but to be recognized for my hard work by the PRCA Committees, Contract Personnel, Contestants, and Stock Contractors is so rewarding!

Congratulations to all the nominees! Looking forward to sharing this special night with you all!!
