As FRT (triggers) and FRS (safeties) are all the rage these days, it sure is exposing some issues on lower end and budget carbines. These devices need gas in order to function properly and quality buffer systems with proper weights to prevent bolt bounce. Inefficient BCG’s are not going to cut it. Our premium gauged chrome bolt carrier groups solve a lot of the problems. And especially if your rifle has an AR-15 profile carrier, it will never work without a swap to a full profile. Castle nuts should always be staked as well. I guess that’s too much to ask for Smith & Wesson and Bear Creek.

Even though Camp Perry is around the corner, it is not too early to start thinking about the Louisiana High Power Rifle State Championship.

G***K Metal 15-rd mags for 43x have arrived. We’ve gotten some questions about how much length they add over standard 10-rd. Overall, not much. Not enough to outweigh the benefits of gaining 5 rounds in a great slimline carry pistol.
