Thank you to all of the individuals and teams who ran the Colfax Marathon for the Outdoor Lab Foundation! We had a great weekend sharing Outdoor Lab Foundation with the community and appreciate our volunteers who helped make that possible.

Manning finished out a successful year for Outdoor Lab last week!

Students had a great time in the snow, exploring and learning in new and challenging environments.

Laters winter, hello summer!

We were able to celebrate our Partners of the Year at After Dark this year. Huge shout out to Jefferson Conservation District and the Colorado State Forest Service!

JCD and CSFS have been working hard to improve the forest health on both mountain campuses. They have been instrumental in implementing defensible space and other wildfire mitigation efforts. JCD and CSFS have also been working with us to better understand how we use the properties and also advised on the development of our Fire Ecology class. Lastly, they now run evening programs on forest health for our students.

We are excited to announce that we received a $2,750 grant from the Golden Civic Foundation to help support our tuition assistance program ensuring ALL students get to go to Outdoor Lab regardless of financial situations.

We need your help! We're looking for volunteers to staff our outreach booths at two exciting upcoming events: the Colfax Marathon (May 16–17) and the Outside Days Festival (May 29–31).

Outreach events help us raise awareness, strengthen our network, and inspire support for Outdoor Lab. Growing our community of supporters ensures a shared commitment to enhancing outdoor educational experiences for future generations!

As a volunteer, you'll:
-Spark conversations with community members about Outdoor Lab
-Lead fun games, including our crowd-favorite "Are You Smarter Than a 6th Grader?" trivia
-Distribute informational flyers
-Sell branded gear and collect donations
