I’ve explored this composition multiple times - an exercise in light, layers and processing grief.

First inspired by a photo sent from a dear friend, who knows all too well what it is to move through a storm. “This looks like one of your paintings” she said. 🤍

From small to large scale, I’ve painted variations of this work - each a meditation on being present in the storm and looking toward the light ahead.
