Streams Church

As we prepare to leave Streams Church Streams, I keep thinking about the people who have made this church feel like home. Today I want to honor my sweet friend, Idenna.

Idenna is one of the reasons Streams is such a special place. She creates an atmosphere where people feel seen, welcomed, and drawn closer to Jesus. Her presence makes it easier to walk through the doors, knowing you’ll be met with genuine love.

She is the kind of person whose first response is always prayer. When life gets hard, she doesn’t just say she’ll pray…she stops and prays with you. That kind of faith shapes a church and reminds us what it means to carry one another’s burdens.

She serves faithfully on our worship team, leading with grace and humility. But what makes Streams meaningful is not just what she does on stage, it’s who she is in every conversation and quiet moment of encouragement.

Over the past five years, I’ve watched Idenna walk through difficult seasons with unwavering faith. Her trust in God has strengthened those around her and helped make Streams a place where people can encounter His faithfulness.

Idenna, thank you for being such a faithful friend and sister in Christ. Your love for Jesus and heart for people have helped make Streams the kind of church people long to be part of.

You are one of the many reasons it is so hard to say goodbye. I’m so thankful God brought us together.
