Due to unsafe weather conditions and expected high winds (even Rudolph’s nose can’t cut through this weather!) Santa has made the very tough decision to cancel his visit through town today to ensure next weeks magic.

Until then, stay cozy, safe, and enjoy the magic of the holiday season as its still very much in the air… just a little too wet and a little too fast today .

We hope to bring this event back to our residents again in 2026 as we always enjoy seeing the smiles on everyone’s face.

If you are still willing to donate a toy, we will be collecting them at our headquarters throughout the week up until 12/19! Thank you!

Back in December 1961, newlyweds Roslyn and Anthony Bolcato began a beautiful holiday tradition by donating to their local Toys for Tots Drive. For more than six decades, that simple act of kindness has inspired countless others in our community.

This year, we’re continuing that tradition in loving memory of Roslyn Bolcato, a cherished Glen Ridge resident and former Borough employee. With your support, we can make this our biggest toy collection yet!

Drop off NEW, UNWRAPPED toys at: • Glen Ridge Municipal Building • Glen Ridge Public Library

Deadline: Friday, December 12th at noon

Join Us in Person! The Glen Ridge PBA Local 58 will host a community collection event on Sunday, December 14th 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Glen Ridge Train Station / Community Center, 226 Ridgewood Avenue.

Let’s come together as a community to spread holiday cheer just as the Bolcatos did all those years ago.
