Glen Ridge Community Concerts

Join us for an enchanting afternoon as the Cavatini String Quartet performs at the Glen Ridge Community Concerts on Sunday, March 8 at 3:00 p.m. in the beautiful Blue Room of Glen Ridge Congregational Church.

The program is a rich tapestry of string quartet masterpieces, featuring
• Mozart’s radiant String Quartet No. 21,
• Schubert’s passionate Quartettsatz,
• Webern’s introspective Langsamer Satz, and
• Beethoven’s expressive String Quartet No. 6 in B-flat major.

The quartet is led by four extraordinary musicians: Béla Horváth, a Hungarian violinist whose performances have graced Carnegie Hall; Dr. Ye-jin Han, a violinist praised for her expressive tone; Colin Brookes, a viola master whose performances have spanned the globe; and Jacqueline Choi, a dynamic cellist who has soloed with the Boston Symphony and performed at venues like Alice Tully Hall. Don’t miss this afternoon of passion, precision, and unforgettable music.

We are delighted to present a concert of music by the grandfathers of modern musical theatre, Gilbert & Sullivan. The program will feature well-known favorites from H.M.S. Pinafore, The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance, as well as lesser-known gems. The Glen Ridge Choral Society, Soloists, Children's Choir, and Handbell Choir are performing in the air-conditioned sanctuary of Glen Ridge Congregational Church on Sun, May 19 at 3:00 pm. 🎶We are thrilled to welcome Wanamaker Grand Court Organist (Macy's, Philadelphia) - Peter Richard Conte - to the Glen Ridge Congregational Church on Sun, Mar 24. Starting at 4:30pm ET, he will present a rededication recital of the refurbished pipe organ. There is no charge for admission. A free-will offering will be received.
