Little Love Stories

Well what can I say….Today was perfect.
I held Ms. Serena when she was born. Today she introduced me to her new baby sister, Eloise.
It turns out second babies are the best little sleepers; especially when big sister wants to take pictures in every room🩷
I just adore these little women and the sweet hugs I got between photos.
For a few hours I’m apart of the family and I’m so extremely grateful for that.

A 365 day difference.
1 year.
1 birthday.
1 million new memories.

So grateful I get to be the one that captures your time.

I want to thank everyone for a memorable and amazing holiday photo season!
The craziness always begins in September and last through the end of the year.
Every year seems to get bigger and brighter and better than the one before it. Thank you to every single one of you who trusted in the red set this year. Who joined me for fall family photos! Who let me hold their babies even when it had nothing to do with the photos we were going to take. (Super big perk of my job!)
Thank you for dressing up your kids, bundling them up in the cold, promising them treats, switching out shoes, in the little studio, bringing your puppies my way and 1 million treats to go with it, combing hair, getting haircuts! Thank you for re-mapping your days and your schedules and your life so that we could get your family memories captured this year.
The last few years have been tremendously gratifying for me.
I already have my sights set on next year and in the coming weeks I will put up a poll to see which direction we will go with for next year‘s holiday sessions. But in the meantime, thank you for making this year so beautiful.
And please please please send me your cards! This is my Super Bowl♥️

PS. A special thanks to my 3 beautiful babies who shot 3 sessions with me this year. I promise to torture you for forever, and whatever is beyond that. How my darlings have I spent every single day of your lives with you, and I never see the change in your faces until we take your holiday photos? You are the actual reason I exist and my finest masterpiece.

🎄SANTA CLAUS LANDED IN JERSEY!🎄🎅 Thank you to all of my beautiful clients who trusted me to create these memories of your little ones.
✔️This is the first time Santa has ever come to the studio and I genuinely could not love these images more.
✔️ It was extremely gratifying to see the kids faces light up when they saw Santa!

✔️All of the things I was most concerned about, for instance, children screaming their heads off and running out of complete fear, didn’t really come true. *BUT I had to add one screaming pic to this post-BECAUSE OMG IS IT CUTE!
✔️While some of my little clients had a hard time adjusting at first, they all got there.

✔️I’ve looked at every single photo, these galleries are much bigger than I intended, and I couldn’t be happier about it

Special things to Santa Glenn who remains my favorite Santa of all time. Thank you so much for everything!

It is a privilege to be your memory keeper. I can’t wait to do these photos here after year and I hope you’ll always bring the kids back so that you can see them grow with Santa!

Took this rainy day to put it all together. Special thanks to my youngest (who suddenly isn’t looking so young anymore?!?!) and our sweet neighbor Ally who we stole out of her warm home and shoved in front of my camera so that I could make sure all skin tones look great on this RED DIPPED set.
I mean…being mixed is super unfair as my kids stay bronze year round 😉
I learned a lot setting the set up and shooting these text shots.
The GIANT white box is AMAZING but massive- I’m not sure we’ll be keeping her. (Even though I made my husband build it from scratch?!)
Red on red works- but white/silver/gold/ green/cream/ black will all work well too.
There’s plenty of space for the family and for my babies - the floor is filled with fun ornaments and boxes! ( got to make sure we have levels!)
The box tower will get some more ribbon.
But other than that we’re ready to roll!
Can’t wait to get started!
By mid December I probably won’t want to see the color red ever again, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take!
