We've seen a few misconceptions in the comments, so we thought we'd clear a few things up. 😊

Project Hope Animal Rescue is exactly that—a rescue, not a government-funded shelter.

🐾 We are not government funded.
🐾 We do not euthanize the animals we rescue.
🐾 Some of our dogs have been with us for 3+ years, and they're family until they find their forever homes.

So why do we ask for donations? Because food, vet bills, heartworm treatment, toys, blankets, and all the other things our animals need don't magically appear (although we keep hoping for a fairy godmother 😅).

We're a small, volunteer-run rescue doing our best to save as many homeless animals as we responsibly can...without completely losing our minds or what little free time we have left. 😂

We don't really do pledges, but if you'd like to support our mission, donations are always appreciated and go directly toward the animals in our care.
