I am honored to lead the creative direction and design of DJ Image’s PrideFest festivities across Arizona this Pride Month. This is the Phoenix stop that was hosted at The Pemberton on Saturday, June 27.

Every project I take on is more than a deliverable — it’s a chance to turn energy into visuals, amplify a brand’s voice and design with intention. From concept to ex*****on, the goal is always the same: create an experience before guests even walk through the door.

When I design for an event, I think about how it should feel before anyone arrives. The goal is for the audience to understand the experience the moment they see the visuals.

I’ve been doing this work for more than 20 years, creating design and branding for events, performers, and creative productions.

That approach has guided my work with Mia Inez Adams and the Rising Star Talent Competition, which continues to grow and is now in its 11th cycle.

The next cycle begins Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 8 p.m.

Rising Star is a 10-week, zero-elimination talent competition for performers across different genres. It gives artists space to develop their skills, receive feedback, and build consistency over time. It functions as both a performance platform and a structured development program.

Each design decision supports that purpose. The visuals are meant to clearly communicate what the experience is, who it is for, and what participants can expect.

It is not only a talent show. It is a space for artists to refine their work in real time.
