It’s hard to believe that a little over a couple years ago I sat on a train on my way to San Diego with my husband and had a conversation that changed my business forever.

I was a lash artist at the time (still am) and saw a need for a lash line that simply made volume lashing easier. Something that lash artists would be proud to use and was made with the highest quality material. Something that would keep talented artist from giving up just because they struggled with making the perfect volume fans. I spent the next several months researching and dealing with manufacturers. I launched my prefanned lash line with less than 300 followers on IG. Zero business experience. A tiny office in my home where I also lashed clients from. I took all our savings at the time and invested in inventory. Can I just take a second to thank my husband for his support and encouragement!!! There was a much bigger stigma surrounding premades then. I set out to prove the most stubborn old school lash artists wrong. I sent my lashes to all the big names. Anyone who would allow me. I had no idea what I was facing with starting this business. Covid was right around the corner and I had no idea. Shut downs. Material shortage. Name it and it probably happened to me during these last couple years. As I celebrate a 2nd year in biz and a new year ahead of all of us, I sit back and reflected on what direction I want to go now. I have decided to completely revamp EyeCandy Glam Supplies product line, website and overall look.There’s products that i have that I won’t carry any longer and there’s new products that I’m dying to bring to you.

I am so incredibly proud of this little business of mine. I started EyeCandy Glam Lash Supplies a little over a year ago. It’s been a roller coaster for sure. Good days. Bad days. Days when I doubt everything. Days so full of confidence in what I’m doing. Imposter syndrome hits hard most days, but I push through because I know there is a need. There is a need for someone to normalize the fact that lashing is freaking hard sometimes. Some of us aren’t cut out to make these damn fans by hand. Some of us need a little help and without that help we will give up on our lash biz dreams. You can master isolation, mapping, taping and all the skills needed to do your job, but if those fans aren’t coming easy then you will feel like a failure. This is exactly what gave me the fire to start my supply biz. I sucked at making fans by hand. Sets would take hours and hours. I would obsess over my fans being perfect. I would literally cry out of frustration. I would get a stomach full of anxiety before appointments. I knew there was a need for high quality prefanned lashes.
