Hamblin Group Interiors will be CLOSING due to my recent cancer diagnosis. Next week is our last week of operations. ⠀

Last week I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. It has metastasized and spread to my lungs, lymph nodes, and liver. I began chemotherapy this week and am hopeful my body responds positively to my treatments. As heartbreaking as this news is to me and my family it also puts EVERYTHING in perspective. As much as creating homes for families fills my heart with JOY, I want to spend every last minute I have on this earth surrounded by my incredible husband and three young daughters. ⠀

I don't typically share my personal news on this business page, but I feel the need to share a little bit more of my story. The last year of my family has been riddled with faith-building trials. On April 17th of last year my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He had brain surgery on April 20th, 6 weeks of radiation everyday except weekends. I thought I was going to lose him. I planned to be the window and was grateful to God that I had this business to support my family if that was God's will. ⠀

Stewart had a follow up appointment with his oncologist and was given a clean bill of health on the SAME DAY I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER! It's so crazy! Yet we've seen the beauty of God's timing. Now, as I begin this journey of uncertainty and see how it's affecting my husband, my heart is truly filled with empathy because I honestly know how scary it is to fill like you are going to have to raise three little girls alone. ⠀

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning in Northern Arizona. I think I’ll cozy up in this chair with a new book and enjoy this happy corner for awhile!⠀

We’ve been decking the halls at our English Tudor project this week!

I’ve had front doors on my mind lately. We have a couple new homes we’re pulling inspiration images for and I came across this lovely image.
•
The traditional header and casing feels light in white. It complements the black door beautifully. I also like how the side light windows align with the window in the door.
•
Other noteworthy elements are the warm paint color on the planking, lantern lights, and wood front porch flooring!

It’s the season for installs. Loving all the art in the vignette ! Shopping for installs next week and getting giddy to accessorize our project!
