Four years ago today, 19-year-old Rachel Hansen's life was taken from her family, friends, loved ones, and our community. Rachel was somebody's daughter. Somebody's friend. A young woman from this community with her entire life ahead of her.

Since that day, we have continued to work Rachel's case. Our detectives have pursued every lead with care, meticulously analyzing every piece of evidence in our ongoing effort to bring justice for Rachel.

We recognize that four years is a long time for answers. Rachel's family has waited every single day. They have never stopped fighting to keep her story alive and see those responsible held accountable.

Somewhere, someone has information. Even the smallest detail that may not have seemed important at the time could be exactly what this investigation needs to bring justice to Rachel and hold those responsible accountable.

Case Summary:
On Saturday, June 4, 2022, just after 2:00 AM, Rachel Hansen called 911 and reported someone had entered her apartment located near San Tan Village Parkway and Coronado Road while she was sleeping and shot her. Rachel was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
