Buzz Kill Pest Control

Stay one step ahead of the bugs this Spring.
Here in Arizona, scorpions don't just die in the cold months. Instead they over-winter in the voids of our walls, attics and any other place they can find warmth. As things warm up again they become mobile. Some will simply make their way through an opening that leads to a light fixture or a gap between ductwork and your wall. The ones that fall into a light fixture will become trapped and eventually die. The ones that make there way through any other unsealed gap in your home are free to walk about. During the summer they will find any other means to get in your home. I have noticed that they like garages, Probably because they are easy to get into but an improperly sealed door will do the trick too. I bought my home last summer and noticed about a half dozen scorpions since. Last month I caulked any gaps I could find around my vents and behind my appliances. I also put glue boards on either side of my garage door. I have not seen another scorpion since. Fingers crossed. Scorpions are considered a contact-kill pest. This means the pesticides used to kill scorpions must somehow touch them directly. Please call Buzz Kill pest control if you do not currently have a pest provider. 480-299-3612
