The Power Players Chess Club is a new club dedicated to introducing new people to one of the best games ever! Our first class is a six week session called "Learn to Play Chess." In each one hour lesson, you will learn how to move the pieces, learn basic strategy and tactics and learn how to checkmate your opponent. Tournaments and family events are planned for future dates. No experience necessary, and the level of instruction is appropriate for ages 10 through 110.

Our very first and perhaps biggest supporter of the Power Players Chess Club is my wife Elizabeth. This is one of my favorite photos of her. (She eventually moved to e4 once I set the camera down!)
