This Menβs Health Week, remember that being someone others look up to starts with taking care of yourself.
Whether you're a father, brother, son, friend, or mentor, your health matters; both physically and mentally. Strength isn't about carrying every burden alone. Real strength is knowing when to reach out, ask for help, and prioritize your well-being.
Someone is watching your example. Show them that it's okay to talk, to heal, and to ask for support.
π You are not alone.
π You don't have to be strong all the time.
π Taking care of yourself is one of the strongest things you can do.

Meet Our Board:
Tyson Figueroa was born and raised in Upstate New York. He earned his degree in criminal justice administration in 2001 and began his career in corrections, where he worked closely with youth ages 14 to 21 who had been convicted as adults. That experience gave him a firsthand understanding of how quickly people can fall through the cracks.
After an injury in 2017, Tyson moved to Arizona in 2018 to rebuild and transitioned into education. He holds a masterβs degree in psychology and has spent years working with youth and young adults in both classroom and mentorship settings.
Today, he lives and works in Globe, Arizona, focusing on supporting underserved youth and families and helping bridge the gap between resources and the people who need them most.
He is married and lives with his wife Ashlyn and their son Henry. He also has two children from a previous marriage, Mya and Talon, who reside in New York.
This is Tysonβs first time serving on a board. He chose to join the Sara K Foundation because of not only the pillars it stands on, but the people who built them. He brings a real-world perspective and a focus on action, working to ensure support reaches people in a way that is real, respectful, and impactful.

SKF was proud to support the San Carlos Harvesting Hope Drug Awareness event at Burdette Hall! It was an amazing evening with valuable information, great networking and amazing dinner! Miss San Carlos was the facilitator. I believe everyone there received a lot of information to start the conversations and prevention. Huge shout out to Kathleen Eyre for her organization of the event.
