I grew up in Michigan, in a world opposite of Long Beach and the life Dre and Snoop rapped about during last night's Super Bowl halftime show. But that didn’t prevent me from loving the beats and style of Dr. Dre. Most of us who graduated in the early ’90s spent some time bobbing our heads to one or two of the G-Funk, West Coast-style raps that came from California. It's just another one of those songs that can take you back to a time and place. 🎤
