I start with round stock and cut and bore it out and flare it to my dimensions. I then proceed to chisel material away until I have my shape intended. I also designed and made my own gut system which are molded out of plastic and I shave and cut my own reeds. The only thing that I have outsourced is the molded guts (which is my design) and the calls are sent out to be engraved when polishing is complete.
