Today is an appreciation post for my first client! 🩷

Violet stopped in today before the rain set in and got cleaned up! 🧼

She has made so much progress since coming to see me and I am so so proud of her with every visit!

She wouldn’t allow me to wash her face. She attempted to bite for her nail trims. She was a little too stressed for the blow dryer and she thought the bathtub ramp was her biggest enemy. 🥲

Since October, her mom has helped so much by practicing using a ramp with her at home! It’s still a little scary for her but baby steps are STILL STEPS! Mom putting in the work at home is something every groomer would appreciate with their whole heart. 🫶🏻

With each visit, we work on desensitizing. With this and a good schedule she is now letting me wash her face, fully blow dry her and trim her nails (AND FILE THEM!!!) with no fits! 🎉

She is the very first dog that I added to my schedule upon opening my business and I’m so grateful to watch her grow! 🌱

One of the most rewarding parts of this industry is watching the dogs gain their confidence with the work we put in and building relationships with them to last for their lifetime! 💖
