Did you know that there's a government funded program that will give you up $20,000 to help buy a home? These funds are called welcome home funds & they will be available soon.
That's right! Up to a $20,000 forgivable grant to help buy a house! These funds are limited. So, when they run out for the year, they will not be funded again until (hopefully) next year. Of course, like everything else, there are restrictions, such as credit score & income restrictions. But, as you can tell by the list below, those income limits are pretty generous.

Here are the income limits for central KY counties:

Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Madison, Scott and Woodford:
$76,160 1-2 people in the household OR $87,584 for households with 3 or more people

Harrison: $74,496 1-2 people in the household OR $85,859 for households with 3 or more people

Franklin:
$73,588 1-2 people in the household OR
$84,626 for households with 3 or more people

Anderson: $73,026 1-2 people in thehousehold OR $84,038 for households with 3 or more people
