Bags2Mats for the Homeless - Delaware

CELEBRATING AN ACCOMPLISHMENT!
In just under two hours our dedicated volunteers sorted more than 100 pounds of soft plastics. That’s 100+ pounds of trash saved from going to the landfill. This was not an easy undertaking, and boy did we get hot but WOW, the results speak for themselves. Bags were packed, air squeezed out and all. We cannot thank all those that came out to help. Most will be used by the Bags2Mats volunteers who crochet and weave the plastic material into mats for the homeless. The tough and smaller of plastic has been donated to Eco Plastics to be transformed into purposeful products. Come join us at our next workshop and be part of this incredible volunteer opportunity.
