The Grand Galvez (owned by one of the Ferrari Club members) in Galveston is known to be the home of many ghostly spirits, but the most well known is that of the ghost-bride, Audra. If you look close enough at the rally poster design you just might catch a glimpse of the ghost-bride.

As the story goes, Audra, who stayed in room 501, was engaged to a mariner who sailed in and out of the Port of Galveston. While waiting for him to return from sea, a storm erupted, leaving Audra concerned about his safety. Audra would later be told that her fiancee's ship was lost at sea and eventually took her own life in the hotel's west turret. In a turn of events, the mariner appeared at the hotel after her passing, only to find his bride-to-be had taken her own life.
