Super Fresh Eggs

Our two female Geese really want some babies! They are lying 2-3 a day.

While we do thoroughly believe that free ranging is the best option for our flock, we acknowledge that there are very real risks to free ranging chickens. Many chicken keepers see these risks and decide against free ranging and that’s perfectly okay. You need to do what’s right for your chickens!

The reason why we do is simply because its healthier for the birds and enables them to produce healthier eggs. Research has shown eggs from free-range hens contain: ⅓ less cholesterol, ¼ less saturated fat, ⅔ more vitamin A, 2 times more omega-3, 3 times more vitamin E, and 7 times more beta-carotene. That makes for a 😅

This winter we needed to make some big cuts off of our white Ash to allow more healthier mature growth, so while I was up there I thought I would take advantage and get a couple pictures.
