at the DE Poultry Institute Guild meets the Fourth Thursday of the month, January through October, at 7:00 P.M. Sew Days may begin at 9:00 on meeting days. No meeting in November (Thanksgiving) and holiday party in early December.

May Show and Tell...what a talented group!

Our March evening program started with Lenny sharing a useful idea about Beginners and Enders. Those are the little pieces we use to start stitching to keep the thread from tangling up as we start piecing our blocks...the dreaded thread boogie 😉 Lenny keeps a box of squares and she uses 2 of these squares as her beginners and enders instead of using some small scrap bit. This way, thwy are not wasted - you are working on 2 projects at once. After she has collected a bunch of the beginners and enders, she pieces them together to make another beautiful creation.
We ended the evening with show and tell! We have some very talented people in our group.

At our March Day program, we all pitched in for a good cause. Mary Ann Doland's Hug Buddies. Helping with all stages of the creation process. These cute animals go to various organizations that help kids. Something soft and cuddly to give an overwhelmed and frightened child a hug! Delmarvalous Quilters are proud to be part of it!
