Even after a week-long trial and favorable verdict, we can still have the stress of an appeal. On Friday, my clients and I got the appellate court's opinion and breathed a sigh of relief. Baby girl stays right where she belongs.

At Tuesday's Transformative Justice docket, we graduated two of our rockstars. We are sad to kick them out of the nest, but they worked hard for their dismissals and expunctions and deserve to go out and live their best lives. We will miss these two, but they have promised to come back and visit us. And I even got flowers from one of them today. 🥹

Thanks to our special TJ team. You guys definitely make work less worky.

She worked on my case and showed great dedication and integrity. This lawyer went above and beyond on my behalf and I will be forever grateful and thankful.

Rounded out 6 hours of hearings yesterday with more "work" by supervising a princess party, i.e. eating cupcakes and playing games. Why we don't pin the horn on the unicorn in court, I will never know.

Huge shout out to Skiin with the Galilean--an organization that provides free lake days for foster and special needs children. And when I say "lake day" I mean breakfast, lunch, dinner and all the wakeboarding, skiing, jet skiing, knee boarding and fun you can fit into one day!

To see the smiles on the kids' faces was incredible. But to see some kids get up on skis and wakeboards when they've never even been on a boat? I'm speechless.

Words cannot express my gratitude.
