Conflict between parents and school is normal and inevitable. Parents want the "best"education for their children. Schools are only required to provide "appropriate" services for children with disabilities.
If you disagree with the IEP team's plan to educate your child, there are several options you can use to resolve the dispute.

*Negotiate and resolve the dispute informally through the IEP process.
*Request mediation.
*File a complaint with the state board of education.
*Request a due process hearing.
