We are so honored to be the recipient of a generous $11,905 grant from The Carrie E. and Lena V. Glenn Foundation. This incredible support comes at an important time for the BackPack Weekend Food Program as we continue to transition into our new warehouse space.
We are incredibly thankful to the Glenn Foundation for believing in our mission and investing in the work we do every day. Community partnerships like this make it possible for us to continue providing nutritious weekend meals to students who need them most.

Beginning Monday, June 1, free meals will be available for children at 54 community sites across Gaston County. The summer nutrition program provides breakfast and lunch at no cost to help families during the summer break.
Parents and families can visit the Gaston County Schools website for a complete list of meal locations, dates, and serving times.
