It’s another beautiful Spring day here in Gastonia. It’s a little cooler compared to yesterday (65° F today compared to 80° F yesterday), but I’m not complaining. So far have made two confirmed QSOs on 70 cm this afternoon. Thanks to Rodney (W2ROD) and Jack (KG4BGA) for the QSOs. I have a work Zoom call at 5:15 PN EDT this evening, so I still have some time left to make more QSOs.

Wow! A 40° F difference between today’s low (40° F) and today’s high (80° F). Great temperatures for the official first day of Spring 2025!!!

Thinking about replacing my ATAS-120 with this high-tech Fred Flintstone indoor TV antenna. Sure, it might not tune 40m, but I bet it gets solid reception on the Yabba-Dabba-Doo band! Who needs modern gear when you’ve got Stone Age RF innovation?
