Alright friends of OGF, we need your help and participation. There is a benefit barrel race at Ryan Greene's Arena next Saturday, November 17. We'd appreciate it if you would come out, bring a horse to enter, bring some money for a bbq plate or the silent auction, or just come to offer to volunteer with the show. The show details are below. Meet Lindsays Fire N Ike, aka Angel. She is Briar's former mount, Stella's, filly. She joined us on March 3, 2018. We truly CANNOT wait to see what she has in store for her future. She already has more personality and sass than we can manage. She enjoys getting her bottom scratched by whoever is willing, although Briar has her rotten with it. At 24 days, she's already enjoying some of mom's feed and an occasional piece of hay to nibble on. He flying lead changes are incredible. :) And her bestie is none other than Briar's black and than c**n hound, Patch (they are roughly the same size...today). Sweet Angel, you were definantley worth the wait!

Sorry for the stall light reflection in the photo, but both our girls are bred. Praying 2018 brings a couple nice babies to Open Gates Farm. Please say a little prayer for both Stella and Gracie that they are both able to carry both babies to term.
