For us, it’s all about the dogs.
Saving them and making sure they find their forever homes.

Some dogs receive so many great applications, we wish we had 100 just like them. Because all 100 would get great homes. Right away.
When someone is not selected for the dog - it could be many factors. None of them personal. ❤️
Maybe the dog needs a yard. Or another dog. Maybe a previous adopter is interested in adopting a 2nd or 3rd dog. (Previous adopters & fosters get first right - it’s only fair.)
So many factors go into the decision. Maybe they bark some - so a single family home would be best for them.

Some dogs wait for months. We aren’t sure why they don’t find their forever home as quickly as others but they can stay with us until they do.

We never euthanize for space. We are a foster based rescue. We can only save the dogs we have fosters for & IF we have the funds to care for them.
Both are always in short supply.

There are many ways to help & support the rescue dogs.

In the southern states, many shelters have an 80+% euthanasia rate. And it’s not getting any better.
It’s getting worse.
