Happy Tuesday Financial Bloomers! I wanted to address an important question. “Will you have to pay back your stimulus money or pay taxes on it?" The quick answer is 'No'. The stimulus check that many received based on 2019’s filing or 2018’s filing is an advance tax credit for 2020. You will NOT have to pay this money back. This will NOT interrupt your 2020 refund as a tax refund is based on “overpaying” the government and getting what you over paid. Let me know if you guys have any questions. 😊
