The day started off strong with both boys showing great speed in practice and followed it up with solid performances in their heat races. Cole rolled off 8th for his feature, while Jacoby rolled off 3rd for his.

Unfortunately, Cole’s feature ended much sooner than we had hoped. Coming out of turn 4, another driver was spun in front of him, leaving him with nowhere to go. He made contact, and the damage ended our day before it really got started. Thankfully both Cole & the other driver were ok! 🤍

Jacoby, on the other hand, had an awesome run from the start. But about 8 laps in, he was hit and pushed into the dirt, ending up on the infield saying hello to the light pole and dirt pile. 😅🫠 but that didn’t stop him! We weren’t sure how it was going to end after that, but he got back on the track, restarted dead last, and ended up putting on an incredible show to end the race with a well earned 2nd place finish!

Proud doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel. These boys continue to show determination, resilience, and heart every time they strap into their karts. Some days test you more than others, but it’s how you respond that matters most! Today Jacoby proved exactly that after these past few weeks of fear taking over & Cole definitely showed the toughness every racer needs 💪🏼 We’ll get Cole’s kart fixed and come back STRONGER next time.

Racing Products for taking the time to check in on Cole a few weeks back after one of his previous wrecks and helping us with getting a kart.
