The soft stuff is always harder than the hard stuff.

As our Vice-Mayor term comes to a close, here are some snapshots of what this year was like. Every day, I am lucky to serve our community alongside so many public servants.

Thank you for the many kind souls who offered me encouragement when I needed it most, and thank you for standing right behind me as we grow our community together.

Sometimes it is necessary to slow down and smell the roses.

The first photo was 4 years ago when I received my citizenship on July 27, 2021. And, never would I have imagined the journey the Lord called me to!

The reality is that local government is not always sunshine and flowers. Yet, the greatest sunshine has been receiving the love of our amazing community. I am indebted to the community that has adopted me and chosen to offer their love—even when decisions can be tough and not fun at all.
