Northwest New Mexico First Born® is a home visiting program that offers free home visits to families with children under the age of five years old or Mother's who are expecting. Home visitors and developmental curricula provide mothers, fathers, and primary care providers with education and support to encourage normal growth and development of happy, healthy babies in positive, nurturing families.

The City of Albuquerque is offering free “Ditch the Ditches” swim passes for kids 17 and under to promote summer safety and keep children out of dangerous arroyos and drainage ditches during monsoon season. The passes are valid May 23–September 7, 2026, and can be picked up at Albuquerque Fire Rescue stations, APD Area Commands, Bernalillo County Fire stations, the Sheriff’s Office, and select pools like West Mesa Aquatic Center.

Summer School will be starting soon for GMCS! Summer School hours will be from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm starting July 7th. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to students, along with transportation to and from school. For any questions and additional information, contact your student's school.
