Cathode Lighting Systems

Here's a photo from a beautiful project Cathode Lighting Systems just completed a few months ago. The Seville Hotel in Miami Beach. A gorgeous and sensitive renovation of an historic beachfront property. Over 1000 feet of custom curved cold cathode lighting using our Slim Flexible Cathode Light Strip in 2400º Sunrise White. A variety of circular and free-form indirect coves were illuminated with this warm inviting color. Lighting design by Isometrix - London.

Most of the things you see from us are high end architectural lighting applications, and for the most part that's what we do, but today we get to share this special project with you from our factory in Gaithersburg, MD.

Pictured here is a portion of a project we completed at St. Regis Resort in Bal Harbour, FL. You will see our cold cathode luminaires in the rectangular cove in 2400k Sunrise casting a soft and natural glow on the ceiling above. What is most unique about this cove design, other than of course our handmade cold cathode luminaires, is the elegant design within the cove. The colors and design are natural, simple, and classically beautiful. Our cold cathode luminaires definitely add to this classical elegance, and can be found throughout the hotel.

St. Regis Resort has been voted one of the top 10 resorts in the USA, and has also been named "Best Beach Retreat" and and "Best Family Adventure". This is all in 2014, they have had many prestigious awards in prior years.

You have probably seen us post this picture before, but it's such a beautiful project a repeat is warranted!

Flavor Paper produces hand screened wallpaper, and its visually interesting and unique designs are displayed on the walls of this room. Founded in Oregon originally, they relocated to New Orleans and are now currently situated in Brooklyn, NY. We had the pleasure of working with designers on creating a lighting system that would harmoniously compliment the sweeping architecture in this room, as well as the custom, decorative and handcrafted wallpaper.

Just like their wallpaper, our lighting fixtures are custom made to fit your specific vision, and are handcrafted in our factory in Gaithersburg, MD. Our decorative flexible curved calthode luminaires are shown here in 3000k Warmlight, casting a delicate glow onto the beautiful handmade wallpaper around the room. Our flexible cathode light strip (FCLS) is perfect for a design such as this- with its curved form, seamless illumination, and soft glow, our luminiaires add a special ambience to this already beautifully designed room.
