Neil focuses on tough issues: fiscal responsibility, regional transportation, school funding, and public safety. He works on finding workable solutions to public issues within his jurisdiction. His background in the private sector as a technology entrepreneur with a Wharton MBA gives him the ability to work with data and fiscal analysis and strategic goal-setting. Good morning ! TOMORROW is Election Day in the Gaithersburg City Council election, and I am proud to endorse my friend Neil Harris for re-election. Neil has been a beloved “wonk” on the City Council, delving into data and spreadsheets to ensure that Gaithersburg’s government is making the best decisions for the community. His efforts helped save the city millions of dollars a year.

Neil is also a recognized regional leader on transportation issues, as well as a strong advocate for public safety, economic development, smart growth and housing, open space, and investment in local educational and safety net programs—all while being fiscally responsible.

Please join me in casting one of your votes to re-elect Councilmember Neil Harris. He is thoughtful, collaborative, trustworthy, and he does his homework and was a great colleague to serve with together on the city council.

The voting location is the Activity Center at Bohrer Park for all in-person voting. The polling place will be open for in-person voting on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Or you can return a mailed ballot by mail or place it in any of the seven secure ballot boxes located throughout the City. Ballots must be postmarked or placed in the boxes by 8 p.m. on November 7. I highly recommend voting in-person or using a drop box rather than mailing your ballot at this point.

However you choose to vote, make a plan and make sure your voice is heard!
