Meet Gator, one of VRA’s blood donor heroes.
Gator is a Boxer/Pit mix who has been part of VRA’s blood donor program since 2020. Over the years, he has helped support canine patients who may need blood products during emergencies, surgery, intensive care, or treatment for serious medical conditions.
And according to his team, Gator is happy to help — especially when treats are involved.
He is such a calm and cooperative donor that he does not need sedation for his donations, making him a true pro at helping his fellow canine friends.
