KGAF NEWS. CARJACKING & SHOOTING IN GAINESVILLE.
A 19 year old woman was shot early Monday morning in a carjacking incident in Gainesville.
Gainesville Police report 19 year old Lauren Price sustained non-life threatening injuries after being shot when an unknown suspect demanded the keys to her car at a Taco restaurant at 3500 North I-35 in Gainesville. The suspect took the car which was later recovered. No weapon was found in the car and the suspect is still at large at last report.
He is described as a male wearing a dark gray hoodie mask, black backpack with dark pants. He is considered armed and dangerous. Police are reviewing video from the scene and advise that if anyone is seen fitting the description please call 911 and do not approach.
