Heat race 1 in one word: Chaos. Lots of yellow flag laps, some contact, and very few green laps. John Kierce did his job and brought the car back in one piece, which makes our job easy getting ready for heat race 2 tomorrow morning.

Good qualifying run for both Kierce brothers at Watkins Glen. John is starting 10th and Chris 12th. Race 1 is at 14:35 EST. You can follow the action here:
