Hello! Dr. Martin Heesacker is currently recruiting students to serve as teaching assistants (TAs) for his CLP2001: Personal Growth course for Fall 2022. The course will be taught entirely online using synchronous and perhaps some asynchronous class formats. The course focuses on research-based methods of implementing the science of success and well-being in ways that enhance students’ quality of life. As a TA, you will be responsible for grading weekly assignments and holding one virtual office hour per week. You will also be responsible for leading a team of approximately 5-10 students each week as they discuss their goals and course content with each other – this team will meet either synchronously over Zoom, or asynchronously via Canvas discussion boards, depending on TA availability and student interest. To be a TA, you must have taken PPE3003: Psychology of Personality or CLP2001: Personal Growth with Dr. Heesacker and earned either an A or A-.
