The bands Bio…
Wyatt Foster
Wyatt started out behind a drum kit, chasing rhythm and noise, before picking up a guitar at 13 and never looking back. Over the years, he has played in numerous bands, carving out his sound and story along the way. Some band highlights included Tumbleweed, Gangster, Chaser, Channel 7, Undercover, and the all-original band Bentwood Rocker, where we even caught some Atlanta radio play. Life took on new meaning as Wyatt built a business and raised a family over the years but music never left. It evolved. These days, he is proud to be a founding member of The Regulators, for the last 14 + years alongside Joe Picone. We’ve been rocking the Atlanta area ever since, bringing energy, experience, and passion to every stage.
Joe Picone
A native Atlantan, Joe grew up in a musical family. His parents were both professional musicians.
Joe taught himself the drums and put his first band together in 1975 with some friends in Buckhead. Hauling drums around in a '55 Dodge truck, we were jamming wherever we could... The Master Grille at Chastain Park, Hedgens Bar and lots of keg parties. Joe has played in various groups nonstop since then…in the 2000's it was The Mixx…the last 14+ years with dive buddy Wyatt Foster and The Regulators Band. Now on the 3rd or 4th iteration of the band, we are getting back to where we left off last year. We do it because we love music.
Terri Lynn
Music didn't find Terri Lynn — she was born into it. Raised just outside of Baltimore in Middle River, Maryland, she grew up with her mother's voice and whatever was playing on the stereo as her earliest soundtrack. From grade school performances to school musicals and theater, she chased every stage she could find. In 4th grade she picked up the flute — and that was just the beginning. Saxophone, oboe, French horn, trumpet, piano, and most percussion followed. By high school she was marching band, every vocal ensemble, and ultimately Drum Major her senior year — leading the band as confidently as she'd one day lead a crowd. Her vocal influences read like a hall of fame: the raw power of Ann Wilson, the breathtaking range of Whitney Houston, and the timeless elegance of Ella Fitzgerald.
She's played in bands on both coasts, hosted karaoke, and founded the Atlanta cover band The Feel Good Index. Life threw some curveballs, but Terri regrouped and kept going. That's just who she is. Now she's bringing all of it to The Regulators. Off stage, she leads Scuba Girls International, Scuba Girls of Georgia, and The Litas Atlanta — an all-female motorcycle riding group. She's a passionate CCR cave diver, pickleball enthusiast, the Girl Friday and Meetup Maven of Dive Talk, proud mom of two, and IT consultant by day. Somewhere between the cave systems, the open road, and the stage — that's where you'll find Terri Lynn.
Sloan Hayes
Sloan grew up in McDonough, GA. He taught himself to play piano at the age of five and joined his first band while in high school. His first Atlanta band was Brother Bait. Sloan was a founding member of the band Starbuck, whose 1976 hit, "Moonlight Feels Right," went to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. With Starbuck, Sloan appeared on American Bandstand, Midnight Special, Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin, Dinah Shore and others. He later teamed up with two other members of Starbuck in Magic Cat. He next landed in a country band called Reel People during the Urban Cowboy craze. He thought he was going to quit music at that point, but the Muses would never allow that. So he has kept his toes in the musical waters and is still tickling the ivories. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching from GA State University. Now, Sloan is excited to be teaming up with The Regulators and entertaining new audiences, both old and young.
And when Sloan grows up, he wants to be Charlie Puth.
Mark Cassandra
Mark grew up in northern Virginia, and started playing guitar in middle school. His first live performance was "Proud Mary" in front of the 8th grade music class (he got an 'A'!). In high school, he joined a garage band playing covers of now-classic rock hits. Post-college, he gigged as lead guitarist in a Country/Southern rock band before putting it aside to focus on marriage and family and a career in IT. In 2013, an opportunity arose to join a working Beach Boys tribute band. This was followed by stints in several bands and duos playing Classic Rock, Pop/Oldies and Country before joining the Regulators in 2026.Other than a handful of lessons, Mark is self-taught and plays mainly by ear. He has a gift of being able to play almost any song that he knows which has led some to call him "The Jukebox".
Noriel Ona
Born in the Philippine Islands and raised with rhythm in his blood, Noriel first hit the drums at age 11— and never looked back.
From school symphony orchestras to jazz ensembles and high-energy marching band performances, he built his foundation early. As an adult, he’s powered stages across genres: original rock with Onus, top 40 hits, contemporary jazz, and feel-good tribute sets (including Beach Boys vibes). Now bringing his tight grooves, infectious energy, and veteran pocket to The Regulators, Noriel is locked in and ready to drive the band’s high-octane mix of rock, soul, and everything that makes
you move. When he’s not behind the drum kit, you’ll find him chasing birdies on the golf course or taking long, chill walks on the beach.
Mike Buckley
Hailing from Philadelphia, Mike lays down the groove with an infectious passion for live music. An avid pickleball player, he brings the same energy to the stage, bridging genres with ease. With a commitment to holding down the bottom end, he anchors the band's sound effortlessly.
