You’ve watched Story grow into the curious little filly she is today…

But you’ve never seen all of this.

These are the moments between her very first breath and her very first successful stand.

The wobbly legs.

The determination.

The little stumbles.

The tiny victories.

Every newborn has to figure it out… and Story was no exception.

But whatever you do… don’t click away after she stands.

The ending captures one of my favorite moments from that day—a sweet exchange of nickers between Story and Carmella that melts my heart every single time I hear it. 🥹💕

🐴 I thought every horse on the ranch had completely disappeared…

I looked across the pasture…

Nothing.

Not a single horse in sight. 😂

So down the hill I went to find them.

The second they realized I was coming, the entire herd decided I absolutely did NOT need to walk back alone. 🤣

They all turned around and started following me back up the hill like a giant, four-legged parade.

💕 Before we even made it halfway, Prudence slammed on the brakes.

Apparently butt scratches were a mandatory pit stop. 🍑😂

Once that very important business was taken care of…

We continued our journey.

Preacher was in a hurry because he knew snacks were waiting, but he still couldn’t resist stopping long enough to collect a few pets before hurrying to catch back up. ❤️

By the time we reached the top, everyone wanted attention…

…and somewhere in all the excitement, I nearly got run over by my own welcoming committee. 🤦‍♀️🐴

Honestly…

I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything.
