❄️ Winter Storm Prep: Protect Your Home & Heating System ❄️
With winter weather moving in, now’s the time to take a few simple steps to protect your home and avoid no-heat emergencies:

✅ Set your thermostat to at least 68°F — don’t turn it off
✅ Open cabinet doors under sinks to protect plumbing
✅ Change or check your furnace filter for proper airflow
✅ Make sure outdoor vents and exhaust pipes stay clear of snow/ice
✅ If you lose power, never use grills or generators indoors

A little prep now can save you from frozen pipes and no-heat calls later. Stay warm and stay safe out there!

Looks like bad weather is coming in for the weekend. Should you lose power, please be careful of your alternate heating source.

*If using a portable generator, be sure the extension cords are rated for outdoor use.
*Layer your clothes and make sure you have plenty of blankets.
*Use only INDOOR rated propane heaters
*Close off parts of the home and try to only heat a small area
*If using any propane/kerosene style heaters, make sure to have carbon monoxide detectors with good batteries and be sure to test them BEFORE the storm gets here.
*Make sure you have plenty of fuel that is safely stored for your generator.
*Above all always consider the safety of what you are doing during this time.

After it’s all passed, if you have any issues with your heat, please give us a call 678-400-8057.
Be safe! 🙏
