Targeting tumors without harming healthy tissue remains one of oncology’s biggest challenges. 🩺
Led by Dr. Christoph Rader from Scripps Research and The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute, rresearchers have developed high-affinity anti-ROR2 antibodies that selectively bind ROR2-positive tumors. The platform supports monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and T-cell engagers for targeted cancer therapies.
By focusing on the tumor-associated ROR2 receptor with high specificity, the technology could support more precise targeting while reducing off-target risk. This University of Florida innovation supports the development of safer therapeutics, diagnostics, and imaging tools for precision oncology.
