Operation Alterations

Sometimes sequins aren’t your best friend!! After I moved this zipper to make the bodice and hip area tighter, the sequins were waging war on our attempt to zip the zipper. The bodice fit my client perfectly! But the sequins were being naughty! I loved this color on my client though!

I have officially entered prom season!! All of the sparkles and glitter will be decorating my office floor! It makes it pretty! 😂

Getting busy with wedding dresses! I love being able to do this!!

These two memory bears were made from vests and from a leather jacket. The beads and buttons were a wonderful part of the vests! Watching my client’s reaction when she picked them up was so wonderful!

I saw a friend of a friend’s post asking for someone who might make an outfit like the first picture. She wanted this outfit as a pageant outfit for her daughter. I offered my skills because of the creations that I’ve made in the past. There was not a pattern to follow for this outfit, so that provided a little bit of difficulty. After measuring my client, getting mom‘s input as to what she wanted to see and change from the original inspiration, I was able to come up with this! My client went on to do very well at the pageant and enjoyed her outfit!

I made:
- 2 hair bows
- a pair of shorts with bows on the fronts
- a shirt with 2 layers of ruffled skirt on the bottom.
- each bow on the outfit.

I am so proud how this turned out and I’m even further happy that she was so happy with it!
