University of Florida is currently holding two clinical trials to determine the beneficial effects of the probiotic L. johnsonii N6.2 in patients with Type 1 Diabetes.

Must be either local to Gainesville or willing to travel to participate (Travel accommodations are available)
Criteria for adolescents:
* Ages 8-17
* Have had T1D for 1 year or less
* Willing to consume a probiotic daily for 24 weeks
* Willing to have blood drawn on 4 visits
Criteria for adults:
* Ages 18-45
* Have had T1D for 3 years or less
* Willing to consume a probiotic daily for 24 weeks
* Willing to have blood drawn on 4 visits
