Fresh sage, thyme, a pinch of cayenne, and a homegrown turnip, greens and root, feature in this good-for-what-ails-you chicken bone broth soup. It was surprisingly tasty and so soothing.

The kimchi made from greens, radishes and onions from the spring garden has improved with age! Served with creamy, fresh summer pink eye purple hull peas, it nourishes across the seasons.

I predict an omelet for lunch!
