Cherokee County Fire Safety Team

Josh Parker and Eddie Bishop received the Fire Safe South Carolina community designation award on behalf of the Buffalo VFD. This designation is given to fire departments that consistently promote fire safety. Josh and Eddie are part of the Cherokee County Fire Safety Team that takes the Safety House to all the Cherokee Co. elementary schools and presents fire safety tips to students. Not only are they in all of our schools, but the Safety House is also at several public events throughout the year. The award was presented at the South Carolina Fire-Rescue Conference in Columbia this past week. Thank you Eddie and Josh for your service commitment to Cherokee County and surrounding areas.
