After battling moisture damage for two weeks, I just couldn’t save the top of this coffee table… it was too far gone. So, I decided to rebuild it instead and give it a fresh new life ✨ It wasn’t easy, but totally worth it 💪🏼 Now it looks completely different and has many more years ahead! This weekend, I finally finished painting the bed and completed the full bedroom set, nightstands, dresser, and all!
While working on it, I remembered a conversation I had with the owner about this set. He told me the marks on the wood were from his beloved dog, Junior, who crossed the rainbow two years ago. Those little scratches held cherished memories of him 🐾 🤍
Even though I was repainting and restoring the wood, I made sure to leave a subtle detail to honor those memories. Surprising him with that little touch and seeing his reaction brought me so much joy 🥰
